Starodubtsev Luka Artemovich: "The Japanese have accepted our offer sir."
Yuri Krukechev: "Good, we can more then enough use the money. Artemovich, also tell the Japanese that the USSR agrees in our desire for no world wide conflict, and desires a embassy to begin diplomatic relationships. Tell them that, would you."
Starodubtsev Luka Artemovich: "Yes sir."
Yuri Krukechev: "Minister Ivanovich, move the 2nd, third and 9th company to the islands for safe keeping. If you suspect any military advancement or attempts at strong armed defense in the region, inform me immediately.

Starodubtsev Luka Artemovich: "Sir, the Germans have not responded yet. Should we take it as a snub?"

SOVIET UNION - 1936, March
Starodubtsev Luka Artemovich: "Sir! The Japanese are preventing the communists from taking China!"
Leshchyov Matvey Ivanovich: "We have recorded movements of their 3rd and 6th army moving into Shaanxi."
Yuri Krukechev: "What the hell? What should we do?"
Starodubtsev Luka Artemovich: "We must send a strong statement telling them to withdraw, demand so in fact."
Leshchyov Matvey Ivanovich: "I would reccomend we move our 3rd and fourth fleet to the coasts of Japan and border our 6th and 7th army onto China for possible retaliation."
Starodubtsev Luka Artemovich: "The first step we must do is withdraw the Sakhalin islands lease and demand they withdraw forces."
Yuri Krukechev: "I agree. Send it over Artemovich, inform them immediately."

Imperial Palace, Tokyo"Milord the Premier of the Soviet Union has this telegram message" as foreign minister Hachiro Arita hands out a telegram to the Japanese Emperor. As the Emperor read it. His face originally frowned and then he broke out in a fit of laughter. "Withdraw from China?!?!? hahahahaha. Oh my these Soviets must be really dumb to actually think that an agreement already strucked between both the ROC and Japan will turn into vapor just from a demand" as the Emperor finally stops laughing "Tell the Soviets that the Chinese will NOT be friendly with the Soviet Union even if Mao Zedong will actually succeed in overthrowing the ROC. The Russian invasion of Manchuria and the establishment of the Port city of Vladivostok has already proven that the Russians are NOT welcomed in China even if the Communists have won. Also tell them about the Soviet Territory in Port Arthur and how both Chinese factions really wanted to take back a sovereign Chinese territory that has been taken from them a hundred years ago......and how it would be highly detrimental if something were to happen to it" "as for Sakhalin. Tell the Soviets to go ahead. Just remember that we haven't even begun paying our monthly payments and the base is still in it's drawing phase. So it will be to the Soviet's harm than Japan's" as the Emperor informs the foreign minister about Japan's response "Also bring the Kido Butai, 2nd naval fleet and the 1st fleet into full alert. Let's see how the Russia's response to a full sortie of Cruisers, Battleships, Aircraft carriers, and Destroyers would be" paulsorry if you find this offensive. Just want to sum up the Emperor's response to the Russian demand

SOVIET UNION - 1936, March
Starodubtsev Luka Artemovich: "Sir, the Japanese have not taken our message well."
Yuri Krukechev: "How bad is the result?"
Leshchyov Matvey Ivanovich: "They've moved the first and second fleet to full alert."
Yuri Krukechev: "God damn it! You've completely underestimated the gravity of the situation you bunch of dumb-asses."
Leshchyov Matvey Ivanovich: "Sir, we're sorry, but we really think they're overr-"
Yuri Krukechev: "Shut up Ivanovich, I've had enough with these Japs. Give the communist rebellion arms through a backdoor negotiator, give them thousands of 82-BM-37 mortars, top of the line. Give them the Tokarev pistol, give them, I don't know. 25 thousand from reserves and plenty of ammunition to spare. Also begin development on a, uh, automatic rifle. We have yet to make one which is nationally Soviet."
Leshchyov Matvey Ivanovich: "Yes sir."

Imperial Japan, 1936 - March
"The Kwantung army that is still stationed in Manchuria is in full combat readiness alongside the army in Korea and Mainland Japan itself. The Soviet advantage of Surprise in case of a war has been completely destroyed and even as we speak. Imperial Japanese troops are readying a perimeter spread throughout the Japanese Russian border" as the minister of war Terauchi Hisaichi concludes his report between the Emperor and the Prime Minister.
"I would also assume that the Type 100 Submachine Gun has already been issued yes?" as the Prime Minister asks
"yes sir. We just started production this year too. The Type 100 Submachinegun has already been issued for 1 person for every squad and that we are also starting negotiations with the Americans to build a Browning machine gun factory in Osaka so that we can build the M2 Browning heavy machine guns under license" as Terauchi responded.
"How about the Type 3 Chi-nu?" as the Emperor asks about a coming new model of Medium tanks that will enter Japanese Service next year
"The first prototypes has been finished in indoor trials. It looks quite good and they are about to start field trials by early august and hopefully start mass production by late august"
"I would also like to remind you that under my direct orders. Production of the Chi-ha and Chi-ro tanks has been cranked up in response to the Japanese intervention in mainland China and the heightened military tensions with The Soviet Union. The Soviet Union has underestimated our industrial might at their suffering. And this might be the right time for Japan to start deescelation talks with Russia"
"forget about it Teruichi. The Chinese has just intercepted a shipment of alleged Soviet weaponry of Mortars and Pistols coming out from the Gobi desert. The Soviets is actively combating Japanese interest through PRC proxies and we shall respond in kind. Implement a lend lease program for China. Tell them we would supply them tanks, small arms and even artillery with a 50% discount" as the Emperor talks
"Understood sir. I will relay this message to the Foreign Minister"

[Constantin seats down]
Constantin von Neurath: Of cause my Führer.
Führer Friedhelm: We have noted that the Soviets too are cleansing themselves of religious minorities but has yet to deal with their Racal issue, we want to begin relations with the USSR once more, but first we want to know they will too deal with your Racal issue, We estimate there should be around 20,000-30,000 Afro-Russians...And we want them gone before we can start talks about building a relationship.
Constantin von Neurath: thats a tall order Führer, what about ourselves?
Führer Friedhelm: We are already Sterilizing these Rhineland bastards, its only a matter of time.

Krukechev: So, the Germans, they want to create relations if we execute 20 thousand to 30 thousand of our own people? Forget about it!
Artemovich: Sir, there may be a silver lining to the situation.
Krukechev: How so?
Artemovich: If we could have them help in our conquest of the Belkan areas and Eastern Europe, 30 thousand Russians are small price to pay for conquest.
Krukechev: Fine. Offer the Fuhrer this new deal, see what he says.

Krukechev: Okay, they've brought another deal to the table?
Artemovich: They're letting us take the Balkans, I suggest we take Romania.
Krukechev: That's a matter of defense.
Artemovich: In any matter, that's the deal they've proposed. We would still have to deal with the matter of executing the 20 thousand.
Krukechev: Fine. Sort out the arrangements, get their help for the Romanian conquest and execute the 20 thousand.

Mesage from the Emperor to Krukechev
Mr. Krukechev, Sorry for the late telegram, but do to the urgency, I sent it anyway. Due to the growing tension between the allies and our alliance last month, I singed a treaty with Scandinavia bringing them under our protection. As of 12:00, the territory of Sweden is now yours. The point of the treaty was to make sure that the allies couldn't get Scaninavia and its resources, now that we have it, I want to transfer those nations to their rightful owners. No Imperial military units are in Scandinavia, and the authorities have been notified that you will be there with forces shortly to begin your "protection" of them. Enjoy!
Regards,
Empwror George I
